The molecular design of "alkylamide chains + functional pi-core" makes it possible to create a variety of multifunctional organic ferroelectrics. In general, it is difficult to combine ferroelectricity and conductivity. However, the high degree of freedom in the design of organic molecules enables the coexistence of these two properties. In the presentation, we will introduce the development of organic ferroelectrics, and then report on the phase transition behavior, molecular assembly patterns, semiconductor properties, and ferroelectric properties of alkylamide-substituted BTBT derivatives.
