Non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE) is a phenomenon unique to non-Hermitian systems in which all bulk modes become localized states. In this study, we investigate optical NHSE in a medium with MT symmetry. In this system, the eigenvalues become real and skin modes without attenuation or amplification are achieved. The real-eigenvalue skin mode is important in the excitation of skin modes.
