Although transition metal dichalcogenites can be monolayer, they exhibit the photolumionescence (PL) and conductivity as a direct bandgap semiconductor. In this study, we transferred continuous WS2 atomic layers, grown on a sapphire substrate by chemical vapor deposition, to plasmon-photon hybrid metasurfaces, and examined their PL enhancement. At the presentation, we will report the enhancement effect by improving the quality of transferred monolayers, and the analysis results regarding the PL lifetime, the confocal PL image, etc. We also discuss Purcell effect.
