In this study, a high-performance polarization converter that functions in the optical and terahertz frequency bands using metamaterials was investigated using the FDTD method to realize a metasplit-ring polarization converter with high transmittance and broadband in the optical and terahertz frequency regions. As a result, we verified that the input linear polarization is converted to right circular polarization when the input polarization angle is 45°.
