We numerically study microwave transmission properties of magneto-chiral (MCh) metasurfaces consisting of a magnetic slab sandwiched by z-type gammadions. Enhancement of the non-reciprocal optical MCh effect is traced back to interaction of the magnetic slab with loop currents formed between the top and bottom z-type gammadions. A novel toy model, named, the extended Kuhn model is introduced to explain the MCh effects.
