We attempted to control the coupling between two topological elastic waveguides. The coupling strength varied significantly with the distance between the waveguides. However, the change in coupling strength via distance is discrete. Therefore, by adjusting the localization characteristic in each waveguide redulting in control of the overlaped mode profiles between the waveguides, we were able to finely tune the values between the above discrete values. In our presentation, we report experimental and numerical results of coupling characteristic between waveguides depending on the distanceand and localization.
