In recent years, due to the decrease in the number of farmers producing plants, smart agriculture, which allows for more efficient production, has been attracting attention. In this context, in the past our laboratory developed a pH image sensor that can measure pH in plants. However, the output of this sensor also changes with light. Light is essential for plant growth, and the effect of light cannot be ignored. Therefore, we proposed a sensor that can measure pH without being affected by light, and fabricated and evaluated it. The proposed method is to measure both pH and light by solving simultaneous equations using two sensors with different characteristics. The sensor was designed, and as a result, a sensor with the output characteristics as designed was successfully fabricated, enabling simultaneous measurement of pH and light. By applying the principle of this sensor to plant penetration, we can expect to make measurements under sunlight, which was impossible in the past.
