Keywords:
atmospheric pressure plasma,surface modification
We developed atmospheric pressure plasma using a commercially available micro-hollow array electrodes for the purpose of surface modification of polymer materials. The physical properties of the polymer are investigated using various gases such as helium, argon, and moist air. We have successfully modified the polymer surface by plasma treatment using micro hollow array electrodes, and compared it to APPJ (atmospheric-pressure microplasma jet). We succeeded in plasma treatment over a wide area.
