We aim to control the atom-photon coupling within a cavity QED system by controlling the atomic position with sub-wavelength resolution. As the first step, we will report on the laser stabilization against the D₂ line of ³⁹K atoms which will be used for stabilizing a high-finesse cavity with respect to the D₂ line of ⁸⁷Rb atoms.
