In recent years, optical fiber sensors have been getting attention in order to accurately detect the aging of various infrastructure.The optical fiber sensor is a glass sensor in which the sensor itself is strongly protected. The optical fiber sensor has been developed to measure physical quantities such as strain and temperature. The optical fiber sensor has characteristics of low transmission loss, low power consumption, and high resistance to electrical noise. In this paper, the author reports on a method for evaluating mechanical induction LPFG sensor, one of the optical fiber sensors, operating with low power consumption.
