Chiral plasmonic nanostructures have potential applications in chiral molecular sensors and metasurfaces. As a new approach, we fabricated chiral nanoparticle arrays by irradiating triangular Ag nanoplate arrays with circularly polarized light in the presence of Ag ions. The obtained arrays exhibited circular dichroism (CD) in the wavelength range of localized surface plasmon resonance. FDTD analysis based on their SEM images successfully reproduced the spectra and indicated that the CD signals can be enhanced by plasmon coupling.
