An all-normal dispersion mode-locked fiber laser using Yb3+-doped fiber as a gain medium was developed as a seed source for multi-core fiber amplification studies of ultrashort laser pulses, and pulses with an average power of 35mW and a pulse width of 2ps were obtained. Dispersion compensation was performed using brazed reflection gratings, and ultrashort pulses close to the Fourier-limited pulse width were obtained.
