In thin film fabrication of a typical organic-inorganic halide perovskite material, CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3), by bar-coating, thermal conversion from its precursor to MAPbI3 is focused on, and evaporation-site-controlled annealing method is proposed. The crystal grain size of MAPbI3 changes depending on the sweep speed of a cover plate set above the precursor liquid films. The crystallinity of the MAPbI3 thin film and the inverted-type solar cells with the MAPbI3 thin films prepared by the evaporation-site-controlled annealing are reported in comparison with the conventional uniform annealing method.
