Microneedles made of bioabsorbable polymers have attracted attention as a minimally invasive transdermal drug delivery technology from the viewpoint of safety. In this study, we are working on the medical application of microneedle technology as a bioinstrumentation device. we investigated the optical design for introducing light into the microneedle in order to realize a compact light detection system with a light focusing function to the tip of the microneedle.
