We propose a minimally invasive, flexible, and distributed Brain Machine Interface (BMI) system. Small holes, 1-2 millimeters in diameter, are made in the skull, and probe-type BMI devices are inserted, which are connected to a master device through flexible cables. This study focuses on the technology to safely provide power and communication to each BMI device.
