We are studying the magnetically coupled wireless power transmission applying for a short-distance power transmission between wireless communication terminals. Since the coupling coefficient is determined by size restrictions, it is necessary to increase the Q value in order to increase the transmission efficiency. At that time, the optimum wire diameter is designed to match the diameter of the transmitting and receiving coils. Therefore, the relationship between the diameter of the coil and the wire diameter of the copper wire is calculated when the transmission efficiency is specified.
