Spin wave (SW) is a collective motion of electron spin propagating in the order of magnetic materials or media. SW can be modulated by the wide range of physical parameters which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications starting from sensors to analog and digital computing devices. This study aims to observe the spin wave propagation characteristics in YIG/CoFeB µ-dot and µ-ring bilayer array devices. We observed a noticeable sharp rejection in the frequency band in µ-dot and µ-ring bilayer array devices. We measured the notch width as 10 MHz and the stopband (difference between two half power point) is calculated as 5 MHz. This type of bilayer array structure can be implemented as high-frequency SW notch filter and the frequency selectivity can be tuned by varying the dot and the array size.
