Efforts are being made to apply peptides to electronics, and there is interest in the interaction of peptides with metal ions. Raman spectroscopy offers atomic-level structural resolution in structural analysis, but reports in small and medium molecular weight compounds are limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the structure of tetrapeptides bound to metal ions. Mixtures of tetrapeptides and metal ions were prepared, crystallised and subjected to micro-Raman spectroscopy.
