This talk reports on the thermoelectric properties of semiconducting carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). Although many previous studies have reported the relationship between primary structure and thermoelectric properties, such as structural refinement and diameter, the effects of their morphology are poorly understood. In this study, we found that composites composed of well-purified semiconducting SWCNTs and polythiophenes exhibit extremely huge thermoelectric power factors due to the morphology reconstruction.
