Nano-endoscopic AFM is a technique that enables the measurement of intracellular structures and mechanical properties by directly inserting a needle-shaped probe inside a living cell. However, contamination adsorption on the needle during the measurement process is a problem related to the stability of the measurement. In this research, the entire needle tip was coated with fluorine to control the hydrophobic and oleophobic properties of the needle tip and to give it the ability to inhibit molecular adsorption, thereby verifying whether stable measurement can be continued without contamination.
