Recently, it has been suggested that femtosecond laser-induced air plasma has spatially complex behavior, and high spatial resolution is required for this experimental observation. In this study, time-resolved complex transmission phase images of femtosecond laser-induced air plasma were acquired by using pump-probe Nomarski interferometer with theoretically 0.8 um spatial resolution.
