It is widely known that arbitrary polarized state of light is achieved by controlling the rotational angles of a set of half and quarter waveplate. Controllling the rotational angles or the thicknesses of waveplates are almost equivalent in principle. The later method has an advantage when it is applied to a highly discrete spectrum as it enables coaxial manipulation of polarized state depending on the frequency, which is numerically discussed in this report.
