Organic-inorganic layered hybrid perovskite materials with long-chain alkyl organic cations have attracted much attention in view of their unique transport and optical properties in their quantum well structures and their high atmospheric stability for solar cell applications. In this study, we report on the fabrication of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite thin films by post-annealing of bilayer thin films of dodecylammonium iodide (DDAI) and SnI2 produced by a clean and highly controllable vacuum evaporation method.
