The exciton quenching process is one of the energy loss processes and is a factor that reduces the efficiency of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) . Therefore, it is important to clarify the exciton annihilation process occurring inside the device in more detail to further improve the performance of OLEDs. In this study, we focus on blue fluorescent OLEDs based on triplet-triplet upconversion (TTU) and clarified that the hole transport layer (HTL)-dependent exciton annihilation process occurs near the drive voltage.
