In this study, a plasma reactor with a cooling tube that can control the water temperature during treatment was developed and tested in order to clarify how the heat distribution during plasma irradiation affects the concentration of reactive species in the plasma-activated water and the germination acceleration of seeds. Mung bean seeds were selected for treatment, and plasma treatment was conducted with the seeds in the reactor. The temperature distribution before and after plasma treatment was measured, and it was confirmed that the temperature rise could be suppressed by flowing cooling water.
