Magneto-optical (MO) activities can be significantly enhanced and modulated by magnetic spin in magneto-plasmonic systems. In this research, influence of surface plasmons on MO Kerr effects have been investigated in antiferromagnetic coupled perpendicular stacked films. For the stacked films consisting of [CoPt/Ru/CoPt] trilayer, the reflective intensity was significantly modulated by the spin alignment states of top and bottom CoPt layer. The anti-parallel state is considered to be optically non-magnetic, thus the reflected light intensity is reduced by the disappear of magneto-optical effect because s-polarisation component is not produced.
