The gate-controlled superconductivity in molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) offers an interesting platform for investigating exotic physical phenomena achieved in devices. For the last decades, the superconductivity in MoS2 has been intensively studied by employing the so-called electric-double-layer (EDL) transistor in ionic liquid gating technique where the charge carrier can be accumulated on the topmost layer of MoS2. On the other hand, the intercalation of alkali metal ions into layered 2D materials has been known as the alternative option to induced quantum phase transition. In this study, we attempt to establish the phase diagram of alkali-metal intercalated MoS2 by performing electrolyte gating experiments.
