We have numerically investigated the aperture averaged scintillation index of chirped ring Pearcey vortex beam (CRPVB) through weak and strong turbulence. We have used modified Von Karman power spectral density to generate the random phase screen. It has been observed that as we decrease the value of chirp parameter (increase the value of the negative chirp) aperture averaged SI decreases in both weak and strong turbulence.
