We study sensitive fiber Bragg Grating FBG sensor systems based on heterodyne detection technique. We developed a novel system by applying time- and wavelength-division multiplexing (TDM, WDM), wavelength calibration using an acetylene gas cell, and automatic data acquisition using a LabView software under continuous wavelength tuning through the sweep of a laser temperature. We report on a DM-WDM multiplexed hybrid automatic sensing system with a sufficient S/N ratio and high wavelength resolution.
