Optical wireless power transmission is considered primarily for use on the ground. Recently, the existence of marine resources on the seafloor has been confirmed. Therefore, optical wireless power transmission is also expected to be applied under seawater. This study investigated the relationship between the optical path length and the reachability of visible laser lights such as blue, green, and red lasers under seawaters from various sea areas. In a result, the green laser had the highest light reaching rate in both Tokyo Bay and Okinawa seawaters. In the case of deep seawater, it is expected to have a higher reachability of blue laser due to its high transparency.
