Anomalous changes of Raman spectrum such as outstanding intensity reduction and blueshift of G+ band were observed in heavily hole-doped and soft-anion-coordinated carbon nanotubes (CNTs). This phenomenon is ascribed to the suppression of carbon vibrations by the adsorbed soft anion species with good affinity. We will also discuss the conductivity enhancement by the soft-anion coordination from the viewpoint of reduction of carrier scattering by the suppressed vibrations.
