Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) growth was performed by liquid-phase synthesis (LPS) method. In the case of LPS with Co catalysts, web-like SWCNTs were grown.The G/D ratio in Raman spectrum was beyond 15, indicating that good crystalline SWCNTs were grown by LPS. In the case of Ir catalysts, small-diameter SWCNTs were grown, whose diameters were less than 1.0 nm. We demonstrated that LPS is effective to grow SWCNTs.
