Keywords:

Solid-state nuclear track detector

PADC that have been studied is the most sensitive solid-state track detector. In present study, PADC with a thickness of about 15 µm were irradiated with 11 MeV/u Ne ion in vacuum at 14 K and the maximum fluence was determine up to overlapping of ion track was observed, and damage of Ether and CH bonds was examined. Hydroxyl groups and carbon dioxide were also observed by subsequent annealing process. In the previous study, hydroxyl group was not formed at low temperatures, and formation was confirmed at temperatures above 200 K. In the present study, OH groups were gradually formed with annealing, and the effect of radical migration on the formation of hydroxyl group was investigated.
