Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) is a material that is both strong and lightweight. However, it has limitations in terms of recyclability and mass production. Consequently, CFRTP, which uses thermoplastic resin as the base material, is attracting attention for its superior recyclability and mass production compared to conventional CFRP. However, it is inferior to CFRP in terms of strength, modulus, and adhesiveness. Therefore, this work focused on creating CFRTP with a Poly Phenylene Sulfide (PPS) matrix by irradiating carbon fibers with an electron beam varying irradiation condition. The effect of irradiation on the impact values were investigated and evaluated .
