In our previous research, we have fabricated magnesium phthalocyanine (Mg(Pc))-based nano- and bulk single crystals using electrochemical methods, with Mg(Pc) as the starting material and tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TBA·BF4) as the supporting electrolyte. In addition, we have studied their structure and electrical properties. This time, to investigate the counter ion effect on them, we attempted to fabricate new Mg(Pc)-based nano- and bulk single crystals by changing the type of counter ion. For these nano- and bulk single crystals, we will discuss the details of crystal fabrication, the correlation between structure and physical properties through structure analysis and electrical property measurements, and the attempts to fabricate devices using nano-single crystals.
