[16p-P07-45] Application of atomization using surface acoustic wave

In this study, the relationship between atomization volume and humidity was determined for humidification and chemical spraying using a surface acoustic wave (SAW) atomizer. Atomization was performed using binary-mixture solutions of distilled water and ethanol. The results showed that the atomization of ethanol solution was possible. Although the amount of atomization varied greatly depending on the operating frequency of the SAW device, humidification was considered possible with an optimized device. The concentration of the solution and microdroplets may differ, and further studies are needed.
