Polymer nanofibers (PNFs) with ferromagnetic property can be fabricated using an electrospinning method with a polymer solution containing iron-filled carbon nanotubes (Fe@CNT) that exhibit ferromagnetism. We examined the effect of the amount of Fe@CNT dispersed in the polymer solution on the morphology and magnetic properties of Fe@CNT-containing PNFs to enhance their ferromagnetic properties. We confirmed that the magnetization of Fe@CNT-containing PNFs increased as the amount of Fe@CNTs added to the polymer solution increased. However, the dispersion of an excessive amount of Fe@CNTs in the polymer solution resulted in formation of agglomeration of Fe@CNTs within the PNFs.
