In this talk, I will introduce that excitation and time-resolved observation using ultrashort pulses of various wavelengths play an important role in elucidating the mechanisms of novel spin dynamics, and in pursuing their potential as ultrafast magnetization manipulation technology. The deterministic all-optical magnetic switching (AOS) phenomenon and the magnetization switching phenomenon via the ultra-fast Barnett effect caused by circularly polarized optical phonons generated by ultrashort pulse laser light will be introduced.
