CNTs possess excellent electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and a large specific surface area, playing a crucial role in various batteries. For example, they are used as conductive additives in lithium-ion batteries, improving energy density, lifespan, and charge/discharge efficiency. We leveraged its long-standing research experience in the practical application of CNTs to conduct research and development aimed at enhancing the performance of various battery technologies using CNTs. This presentation will introduce our research findings on lithium metal and silicon anodes, which are gaining attention as next-generation battery anode materials.
