Holographic memory is a promising technology for large capacity recording and high transfer rate. We have studied a single-shot phase detection method using crosstalk, but the transfer rate is low. In this study, the Hartmann mask is used to eliminate the need for known-phase pixels, which is expected to improve the transfer rate. Simulation results show that the lowest error rate is obtained with a phase difference range of ±100° between adjacent pixels when differential encoded phase signals are used.
