Recently, tracking has been used for manipulating avatars in virtual spaces. On the other hand, tracking can also be used to analyze human motion in sports. There are various methods for tracking a moving object. In this study, it is investigated that a simpler method using a single camera although multiple cameras or inertial measurement units are required for tracking.
In this reserch, the distance measurement of a pattern with a gradient by LiDAR detects the inclination of the plane in which the pattern is located, and the position and orientation are detected by detecting the orientation of the gradient pattern in the plane.
