VO2 is a transition metal oxide with a rutile structure and exhibits a metal-insulator phase transition around 67°C. It is expected to be used in practical devices. It is expected to be applied to practical devices, and it is important to lower the transition temperature. Electron doping is one of the methods to control the transition temperature, and tungsten (W) is known as a dopant that can efficiently change the transition temperature of VO2. In our study, we used photoelectron holography to investigate the effect of W atoms on the transition temperature in terms of local structure.
