The SPR of metal nanoparticles can be used to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic devices. We have reported on the preparation of spherical nanoparticles with controlled particle size by the PLA method. Ag spherical nanoparticles with a grain size of about 100 nm were deposited on Si substrates by the PLA method and the photocurrent was measured, which was increased by about three times before deposition. The cause of the increase in photocurrent will be investigated by changing the particle size and the amount of deposition to optimise the increase in photocurrent.
