[18a-C32-5]Synthesis and crystallization of π-conjugated molecules introduced with electron withdrawing groups and pyrazine for n-type organic semiconductors

Over the past few decades, organic semiconductors have made significant progress, especially in p-type organic semiconductors.However, the development of n-type organic semiconductors is still lagging behind in terms of performance and material diversity.In this study, π conjugated molecules introduced with electron withdrawing groups were synthesized for the development of n-type organic semiconductors.Further, the synthesized molecules are crystallized by a naphthalene flux method to obtain a single crystal.Physical properties of molecules are evaluated by quantum chemical calculation and performance as organic semiconductors is predicted.
