The authors have previously shown that the insertion of Cu into the lower TiO2 layer improves the photocatalytic effect. Confirming whether these phenomena are due to hot career of plasmon resonance will lead to higher photocatalytic efficiency. Therefore, they compared photocatalytic properties by changing annealing treatment time, producing defects and careers. As a result, the sample annealed for 3 hours has the best efficiency.
