大気中光電子収量分光(PYSA)は、試料を真空に入れる事なく、光電子放出特性を大気中で極めて簡単に測定できる。データから得られる仕事関数や光電子放出量を指標に、単分子吸着から数十nmまでの深さの表面情報を得られるので、実表面の初期酸化や再汚染過程の解明が期待される。酸化・汚染皮膜を研削で除去したAuとAl表面の研削後の仕事関数、光電子放出量の変化の大気中でのin-situ測定結果を報告する。
