Sn-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are non-toxic solar cells and have attracted much attention to replace lead-based PSCs. Sn-based perovskites face challenges, notably their stability due to the rapid oxidation of Sn2+ to Sn4+. This research aims to address these stability issues by investigating additives that can stabilize Sn2+ within the perovskite structure. To enhance stability, this study proposes additives that form strong coordination bonds with Sn2+ and possess numerous lone electron pairs.
