Perovskite solar cells use MAPbI3(MA=CH3NH3+) as a light-absorbing layer, and due to the toxicity of Pb, Sn is being considered as an alternative element. However, Sn perovskites have a problem that electrons and holes recombine due to defect levels formed in the band gap, resulting in a decrease in photoelectric conversion efficiency. In this study, we have searched for a substitute element that lowers the levels of the conduction band (CBM) and valence band (VBM) of Sn perovskites and changes the defect level to a shallower level in the band gap as a countermeasure for this defect level.
