Development of recycling technologies for perovskite solar cells is urgently needed for their practical application. This is particularly important due to the use of lead halide perovskites (CH3NH3PbI3) in the photoelectric conversion layer, with lead being regulated under RoHS directives, requiring proper management. Additionally, iodine necessitates structured recycling systems to address environmental impacts. Experimental efforts have focused on recovering materials from perovskite solar cells using ITO-PET film substrates through ultrasonic irradiation in water.
