高速性・省エネルギーの観点から光に基づくRCの実装が注目を集めている．本研究では，空間光変調器を用いたRCにおいて，DMDと光位相変調の手法を比較した．記憶容量などの観点から，情報処理性能の違いを明らかにすることで，計算コストや情報処理速度から，手法の使い分けが可能であると期待できる．結果から，DMDを用いた手法は光位相変調よりも予測精度が悪く，要因として記憶容量が不足していることが考えられる．
